I am still Mamatographying away. I realise this is a very introspective, self-amusing practice (rather than ‘true blogging’) but hey, it makes me happy! Here’s our first week in April, in pics – where she was still sick for the first part of the week:

Day 88

As well as making lines, Nica likes to place things in circles.

Day 89

After several weeks of working on it (by herself) Nica mastered the 12 piece puzzle. Remember her previous attempts like here and this.

Day 90

One of Nica’s favourite toys in her new, zippy pushchair (she never rode in one but by George she loves to push ‘em!)

Day 91

And my hubby has taken to crochet. He made this lovely hat for our next door neighbour’s new baby! I don’t know what the female version of emasculated is but I might be getting close to feeling it. When we go places with homemade gifts it is usually brownies he baked or, now, hats he crochetted. Sigh… I have other strengths, of course, but now that I am a ‘housewife’ I really feel I should do more to live up to that name – LOL. Anyway, ain’t the hat pretty?  :)

And that day Anya was all excited to get dressed up in the lovely dress nana gave her to go to a friend’s birthday party. She has dozens of these dresses. They are all lovely but hard to get through them all before she grows out of them – when mostly I put her in ‘play clothes’. Nice to get some use out of this one. She was happy and twirly.

And at the party she got given a BALLOON!!

Day 92

Speaking of crochet by NinjaDad, he made Nica this sweet little hat. Personally, once the main part of the hat was finished, I voted for a big flower as decor but Nica chose… bunny ears!! (right in time for Easter, too!) She loves it. Here, pictured, bunny reading:
