Nighttime rituals and floss – short

Aum symbol.

Nica and I say a little gratitude prayer every night before bed that lists all the things that leap to us for which we are feeling thankful that day. I always end it with ”Om, shanti, shanti, shanti” (which also signals time to go to sleep).

Nica: ”what does ‘shanti, shanti, shanti’ mean?”
me: “it stands for peace in my heart, peace in your heart, peace in the world”
Nica: “and peace in dental floss”

Umm… okay.
